It feels great, I'm hoping to reach my goal by the end of the summer.

Hmm, ok, #2 is not exactly something I’d advise. It’s not sustainable over a long period of time and as soon as you start to ease back into a normal diet you will gain back all the weight you lost while seriously limiting your caloric intake.

It’s nice to lose weight fast. But it’s also nice not to gain it back fast. As difficult as it is, please find ways to add more calories to your diet. If you don’t, your weight will plateau and you will have difficulty losing more because your body will be conserving all the energy it can.

Considering that you can burn around 300 calories in a half hour of cardio, this leaves you 200 calories for the REST of your day. Go calculate your BMR rate (google it for a calculator). By leaving yourself only 200 calories to get through the day, you are starving yourself and setting yourself up for major mood swings, obsessive thoughts about food, and misery, as well as binges. I have been there. It is hellish. You start out so positive about weight loss, but gradually you realize how fucking hungry you are and how all you can think about is your next meal and how you desperately want to eat but how terrified of calories you are and if you eat 10 calories more will it set you back and why aren’t you losing weight if you ate next to nothing yesterday and so on…

Losing weight is totally do-able. But please please PLEASE my love, do it the healthy way. It may not be as fast, but it lasts much longer AND it won’t take your sanity away. I would advise not eating below 1000-1200 calories. Seems like a lot, but with 30 minutes of cardio a day, you can DEFINITELY lose weight this way.

Feel free to talk to me anytime.
