zuck-on-this asked: So it's been about a week and a half now since we last talked. Since then I've lost 7-9 pounds. I saw how unhealthy it was so I tried to eat more calories each day and drink more water, but since then I've been stuck at the exact same weight for 4 days...I mean not even a single decimal change...What am I to do?
Losing 7 pounds in a week is usually not a lasting change. The faster it comes off, the faster it goes back on. Plus, studies have shown that most of the weight lost in the first throes of weight loss is water weight and not true fat. Remember if you are taking out more calories than you are putting in, you are losing weight. Also remember that you are exercising and building muscle. Muscle takes up less space than fat, but weighs more. I honestly ignore my scale, because my body feels different and I’m burning more than I’m putting in. Just be persistent and you will see HEALTHY weight loss.
